March 15th - The Annual Meeting of the Leatherwood Property Owners Association will be held on Saturday, March 15th at 1:00 PM in the Gathering Barn at Leatherwood.  We will be serving lunch at 12:00 noon, prior to the meeting, so come and enjoy the entire afternoon at Leatherwood.  There will also be a Firewise Meeting with the National Forest Service at 10:00 Saturday morning. We will have coffee and doughnuts for those who wish to attend. 
March 22nd-23rd- Trail Clean up / Volunteer Marking - Please call Abbie for more details, bring your ATV'S, horses & equipment. 336-973-5044
March 28th & 29th - Leatherwood Mountain Extreme Challenge 25/50 Endurance Ride -

April 24th - 27th - MerleFest
May 3rd - North Carolina Horse Shoers Association Educational Clinic - Open to Farriers & horse owners.  9am - 3pm in the covered pavilion

July 5th – BBQ & Games on the Lawn – Brushy Mountain BBQ & drinks provided (POA provides per board approval) – Bring a side dish & come join the fun.  Games will include volleyball, egg toss, horseshoes, tug of war, balloon toss, turtle race & more. 5pm

July 17th – POA Dinner Club Celebration Dinner – 6:30pm Saddlebrook

August 21st - POA Dinner Club Celebration Dinner – 6:30pm Saddlebrook

August 30th – 5 pm - Wine Tasting on the Lawn – Come sample local NC Vineyards at Leatherwood.

August 31st – Softball & Ice Cream Social – 2pm ball game – bring your gloves & lawn Chairs.  4pm ice cream party – Sign up ahead to bring cake, cookies, or a freezer of your favorite homemade ice cream!

September 18th - POA Dinner Club Celebration Dinner – 6:30pm Saddlebrook

Oct 11th – Dinner out & The Junior Johnson Story Production at the Wilkes Outdoor amphitheater - Details to follow

Oct 16th - POA Dinner Club Celebration Dinner – 6:30pm Saddlebrook

Oct 30th – Virginia Creeper Trail & Dinner out - Details to follow

Nov 15th – ASU v.s. Elon Ball game or Stone Mountain Trip – Details to follow

Nov 20th - POA Dinner Club Celebration Dinner – 6:30pm Saddlebrook

Dec – Christmas Celebration Dinner at Elk Horn Manor – Date & Details to follow

TBA – Eustace Conway's Trip to Turtle Island – An outdoor nature preserve that teaches sustainable living techniques & practices
